Katrine Wallevik er ph.d. kandidat på Institut for Kunst og Kultur, Københavns Universitet som en del af et større forskningsprojekt med fokus på repræsentation af music i dansk radio gennem de sidste 100 år. Før ph.d´en arbejdede hun i syv år som daglig leder af Teater Batida, et turnerende teater med aktivitet i Danmark og i udlandet, samt Teater Nordvest, et lokalt baseret teater i København NV. Hun har en MA i Musikvidenskab og en BA i Moderne Kultur fra Københavns Universitet. Desuden har hun et diplom i Kulturledelse fra University College Sjælland. Hendes forskning er antropologisk og har fokus på kulturforståelser i (kultur) organisationer; for tiden specifikt på spørgsmål om agens i medienetværk og i cirkulationer af populærkultur. Hun interesserer sig hovedsageligt for kultur, musik, organisering, diversitet, (nye) medier, mediering, bubbler, ontologier, politik, repræsentation, ligestilling, gender, feminisme og forandring.

Katrine Wallevik is a PhD-candidate 
from Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She started working on her PhD in 2014 as a part of an interdisciplinary research project with specific focus on the representation of music in Danish radio through the last 100 years (RAMUND). Before her PhD she worked as daily leader of Theatre Batida with touring activities in Denmark and abroad, and of Teater Nordvest a locally based theatre in Copenhagen NV. She has a MA in Musicology and a BA in Modern Culture from University of Copenhagen. Furthermore she has a diploma in Cultural Leadership from University Collage Sealand. Her research is anthropological and focuses on cultures in (culture) organizations; more specifically on questions of agency in media networks that circulates popular culture. Her main topics of interest involve culture, music, organization, diversity, (new) media, mediation, bubbles, ontologies, politics, representation, equality, gender, feminism and change.

Ulla Hvejsel: Er født i 1975, på fødselsanstalten i Århus. Den er lukket nu. Uddannet ved Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi i Kbh. Det ligger der stadig. Sidenhen har hun arbejdet en hel del med både performance, tv-kigning, de frie markedskræfter, forældreskab, sprog, undervisning, selvbedrag, sygepleje, morsomheder, videoredigering og nøgne sandheder. Ulla arbejder ofte med længerevarende projekter over flere år hvor hun arbejder sig igennem et emne i forskellige værker, medier og aspekter. Ulla har haft opgaver og vist sit arbejde både lokalt og internationalt, i kunsthaller såvel som i fuldstændig upåagtede lokaler, i blandt andet København, Vejle, Glasgow, Aalborg, Little Wolf-Wisconsin, Berlin, Hamborg, Helsinki, Holstebro, Beijing, Joshua Tree (Californien) Göteborg, Liverpool, Laven, hos LETT-advokater og hos SKAT. Ulla har desuden været med til at starte Udstillingsstedet Sydhavn Station, hvor hun både har arrangeret udstillinger, events og en flytning af skulpturen ”Fiskerkone” fra Gammel Strand ud til pladsen foran Sydhavn Station og hun har undervist på diverse kunstuddannelser, bl.a. Århus Kunstakademi, Holbæk Kunsthøjskole og Akademin Valand, under Göteborg’s Universitet.

Ulla Hvejsel: Born in 1975, at the birth facility in Aarhus. It’s closed now. Educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. It’s still there. Since then, she has worked extensively on both performance, television viewing, the free market forces, parenting, language, teaching, self-deception, nursing, banter, video editing and naked truths. Ulla often works with long-term projects over several years where she works through a topic in various pieces, medias and aspects. Ulla has had assignments and shown her work both locally and internationally, in art galleries as well as in completely unobserved premises, in, among others, Copenhagen, Vejle, Glasgow, Aalborg, Little Wolf-Wisconsin, Berlin, Hamburg, Helsinki, Holstebro, Beijing, Joshua Tree (California) Gothenburg, Liverpool, Laven, at LETT attorneys and at SKAT. Ulla is also a co-founder of the exhibition space Sydhavn Station, where she has organized exhibitions, events and a relocation of the sculpture “Fiskerkone” (Fishing woman) from Gammel Strand in central Copenhagen to the square in front of Sydhavn Station and she has taught at various art education programs, including Aarhus Academy of Fine Arts, Holbæk art-højskole and Valand Academy, at the University of Gothenburg.
